Good Night books are those books that are especially good for reading right before bed. They often tell a story about going to bed and have musical or rhythmic phrases to lull a child to sleep (and adults too if you're not careful!!)

"Just for Fun" reading books are books to read anytime, anywhere. They are fun to read for both parents and child.

Touch and Feel Books

Touch and Feel books are a special genre of books that appeal to all of a young child's inquisitive senses. They contain pictures to feel, holes to poke fingers through, or scratch and sniff pictures to smell. They will delight both young and old.

Christian Children's Books

I did not know that Janette Oke published books for children as well as adult fiction. I was delighted to find a whole bunch of her children's books as I was designing this site. Although I have not read any of her children's books yet, I look forward to doing so soon.

I recently discovered that Beverly Lewis also writes children's books. My son just received the "Cows in the House" book and I've added a review to this site! It's a delightful folk tale that children and adults will both enjoy! Check it out for yourself!

Chapter Books for Youth

These books are suitable for youths aged approximately 8 - 16 years. They may or may not be Christian in content so each reader must take that into consideration if it is of importance to them. This is a newer genre for this site so it will be slowly developed over time.
