have only recently discovered author Lorena McCourtney
and read three of her romance novels in three days.
I am eagerly anticipating reading more of her contemporary
novels soon! Her writing is filled with realism and
pure romance, without any sugary sweet descriptions
or lurid sexual details often found in non-Christian
romance novels. The relationships between her characters
are realistically developed and the reader feels empathy
for them as well. They are filled with suspense and
mystery and I just couldn't put them down! Her books
contain a delightful combination of characters discovering
new faith or developing a deeper faith in God. They
are not pushy or argumentative in the sharing of the
Gospel, but unravel in a manner of gentle awakening
and realization that God loves everyone and will never
forsake anyone.
Lorena McCourtney is
the author of twenty-six books, including the popular
Palisades romances Betrayed, Escape, and Dear
Silver . She and her husband live in southern Oregon.
